What Does RUO Mean?
Research Use Only (RUO) is a regulatory designation indicating that a product is intended exclusively for laboratory research and investigation. RUO products have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA or other regulatory authorities for any clinical application.
This designation applies to all peptides, small molecules, reagents, and other materials provided by LLRI.
Permitted Uses
LLRI materials may be used for:

Customer Responsibilities
By purchasing LLRI materials, you acknowledge and agree to:
- Use materials only for legitimate research purposes consistent with the RUO designation
- Not resell, redistribute, or transfer materials to unqualified parties
- Maintain appropriate records of material use
- Comply with all applicable institutional, local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal according to provided documentation
- Report any suspected misuse or diversion
Enforcement
LLRI reserves the right to:
- Verify customer qualifications before and after purchase
- Refuse or cancel orders where misuse is suspected
- Terminate customer accounts for policy violations
- Report violations to appropriate authorities
